Free, Resonant Singing: This class was originally taught as a week-long course for Harmony University. It extensively covers how to accomplish natural vocal habits and what is healthiest, physiologically, for our voices. Time: 1 - 5 hours.

How to Give a PVI: For directors, music team members, or anyone else who wants to learn how to give effective and meaningful PVIs (Personal Vocal Instruction). Jen will walk the class through the elements of the “ideal” PVI and then ask participants to help demonstrate a “live” PVI for the class. Time: 1 - 1 1/2 hours.

Rehearsal Techniques for Different Learning Styles: Geared toward directors and musical leaders (but open to all), this class outlines eight learning intelligences and how musical leadership can incorporate rehearsal elements to reach members who gravitate toward each style. Concrete steps and examples of rehearsal tools and techniques will be demonstrated. Time: 1 - 1 1/2 hours

Membership A-Z: This is a good "kick-off" class for a weekend/day.  The class is an overview of what encompasses a healthy membership program in a chorus or region, including mission/vision, connection to larger organization, strong membership programs, and marketing to singers. Time: 1 - 2 hours

The New Member Experience: Explore the “ideal” new member experience, from when the member walks through the door to the end of their first year.  This class includes such elements as greeting, communication, membership committee guidelines, voice placement, dissemination of information, new member support, and chorus guidelines. Time: 1 - 2 hours

Why They Leave (and What to Do About It): Learn about the main reasons members leave the organization and what concrete steps choruses can use to address these areas for all members. Time: 1 - 2 hours

How to Build Strong Chorus Teams: What kind of leadership does your chapter require? How can you pinpoint potential leaders in your chorus and tap into their potential? This class, geared toward chapter leadership, examines individual chorus needs, determines what teams would best serve each chapter, and discusses concrete next steps in building strong leadership, chorus-wide. Time: 1 - 2 hours

Chorus Culture/Goal Setting: What is your chorus mission and vision? How do the mission and vision impact chorus goals? This class, focusing on chorus goal-setting, examines the “why” behind mission and vision, how to set obtainable goals, and specific measures that will actively connect goal-setting to a positive chorus culture. Time: 1 - 1 1/2 hours

Rehearsal Scheduling: This hands-on class takes an in-depth look into current chorus schedules and how the rehearsal framework can be innovated to enhance time, value, and member participation in all aspects of chorus rehearsal time. Time: 1 - 1 1/2 hours

Holding a Successful Guest Night: Planning a successful guest night, from start to finish, takes careful forethought and organization. This class explores what is needed to plan and create a productive guest night that will make first-time guests want to come back! Time: 1 - 2 hours

Engaging Virtual Rehearsals/Zoom 101: How can we use Zoom rehearsals to our best advantage, creating an educational experience for chorus members? During this class we will discuss effective rehearsal scheduling, utilizing Zoom tools, and engaging activities, to ensure meaningful experiences for all chorus members. Time: 1 - 1/2 hours
