Jen Cooke started singing barbershop music at a young age with her mom, dad, and sister, in Marion, OH. She brought this love of four-part harmony with her to Nashville, TN, where she joined Sweet Adelines, International, in 2000. She continues to live in Nashville with her husband, Chris, who is an accomplished musician. Jen sang lead with the TuneTown Show Chorus from 2000 to 2012, where she also served as lead section leader, member of the music and directing teams, and chair of the education team. She currently sings with past and current (respectively) Region 23 champion choruses, Song of Atlanta Show Chorus and Metro Nashville Chorus. Jen sings lead with the three-time Region 23 Champion quartet, Dream. Dream has the distinction of having the highest competition scores ever recorded in Region 23. Jen achieved the level of Certified Director, through Sweet Adelines, International, and she has been a front-line director with the Scenic City Chorus since the fall of 2009. Regionally, Jen has served on the Region 23 Music Faculty, on the Education Steering Committee, and as YWIH Coordinator. At the International level, Jen has served on the YWIHPC as member and is the current moderator. She has also provided learning tracks for the Medium-Level Contest Folios (I and II), the YWIH Contest Folio, and has provided tracks for International events, such as AHA and the SAI Family Choruses.
